The number of Americans who suffer from arthritis pain is in the millions and can be any age. These people, of whom I am just one, confront each day with new aches and pains.

I personally have been examined by doctor after doctor. Each one would call for some kind of X-ray or MRI to no avail. The outcome is always the same. I have arthritis and they don’t know why or where it came from. Doctors tell me that it is age and completely normal.

Today we are lucky that there are many options that exist that were not available for our grandfathers and grandmothers. Especially arthritis natural remedies are available like massage and acupuncture.

The old standby A S P I R I N, as always, is the cure-all for so many things and arthritis is one. It alleviates the pain but also treats the swelling and inflammation that make you hurt in the first place.

Be very cautious of new pharmaceuticals that are being released to the public all the time. They can offer joint and pain relief and are touted as miracle drugs. Viox was one and it was recalled not long after it hit the marketplace. The drugs are welcomed by anyone who suffers like me but, as always, check with your doctor and do not take anything without careful thought.

This means that arthritis pain relief is much more possible today than it ever was before, which is a welcome relief for those of us who are so in need of it. For me, the less that I have to suffer from arthritis, the better!
